Young NIGHTCRAWLER in X-MEN APOCALYPSE

The X-Men’s “Fuzzy Elf” is reborn in Fox’s film franchise.

Director Bryan Singer announced via Instagram that Kodi Smit-McPhee will play a young Kurt Wagner aka Nightcrawler in X-Men: Apocalypse.

The actor was last seen in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes and known for Let Me In and The Road.

Alan Cumming played the demonic looking German teleporter in X2: X-Men United.

In comics Nightcrawler is the son of Mystique and Azazel. Jennifer Lawrence and Jason Flemyng in X-Men: First Class. Lawrence is returning as the shapeshifter in Apocalypse. What might have been: Two Wolverines in X-Men: Days of Future Past?

X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn exited the follow up to direct Kingsman: The Secret Service. Bryan Singer returned to the X-franchise and the rest is future history.

While promoting the new spy film Vaughn reveals his plans for the X-Men sequel in which Logan went into the past to change the mutants future.

“I had a whole different idea of how X-Men should go. I thought ‘Days of Future Past’ should be the next one and be set in the ’80s. SOPHIE TURNER On SANSA STARK & JEAN GREY

Sophie Turner will leave Westeros for Westchester. The Game of Thrones star is one of three actors joining the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse and talks about the connection between the characters.

Turner will play a young Jean Grey, the beautiful telepath/telekinetic fighting with her inner dark side which led to the Dark Phoenix Saga.

Game of Thrones fans saw a darker side to Sansa Stark last season.

PATRICK STEWART & IAN McKELLEN in Future X-MEN Movies

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen may not finished as Professor X and Magneto in the X-Men franchise.

While Stewart is not appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, he says McKellen will be.

“Yes, I understand that it seems to be very unlikely that I will be in the next “X-Men” movie, which is almost getting ready to start shooting in Montreal,” Stewart tells Oregon Live. “…But Magneto, Ian McKellen, is certainly going to be in it.”

OSCAR ISAAC On Creating X-MEN APOCALYPSE

Oscar Isaac is revealing more news about his transformation into one of the most fearsome X-Men villains.

Isaac said Apocalypse “will bring the X-Men to their knees” but how will the acclaimed actor and director Bryan Singer create the bad guy’s look and powers?

“It’ll be a mix [of practical and digital]. I haven’t had a script so I haven’t had a chance to look through the script and see what the exact requirements are, but I think it’ll be a mixture of physical, aided with some robotic technology,” Isaac told Yahoo Movies. YOUNG CYCLOPS, JEAN GREY & STORM in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Three young actors have been cast as three of the most iconic mutants in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Director Bryan Singer revealed Alexandra Shipp will play Ororo Munroe (aka Storm) Sophie Turner will be Jean Grey and Tye Sheridan will portray Scott Summers (aka Cyclops) via Twitter.

The new film will be set in the 1980’s with James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence returning as Professor Xavier, Magneto and Mystique. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine.
