As we count down to Christmas there’s a sleigh full of new comics at your local comic book shop this week including two new books based on classic sci-fi films, a bloody showdown between heroes in Robin War and let’s kick it off with the the rise of Wonder Woman when the Justice League fall prey to ultimate power.

Justice League #46 The second wave of Darkseid War rages on! After a spectacular turn of events (Darkseid dead and replaced Lex Luthor?! Batman, Superman, Flash and the League transformed into the new New Gods?!) Wonder Woman and Mister Miracle are the only heroes left to find the MIA Anti-Monitor and stop the cosmic conflict. INHUMANS OF APOCALYPSE?

The fates of Inhumans and X-Men are intertwined as never before. The Terrigen Cloud is creating new Inhumans but killing mutants. It looks like an Inhumans vs. X-Men could become the Marvel event of 2016.

Storm is gathering as many mutants in X-Haven to save them from the Terrigen Cloud while Crystal returned to lead the All-New Inhumans from a new threat to her race.

Peter Parker’s great love Mary Jane Watson joins Team Stark in Invincible Iron Man #4 by Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez.

Tony Stark’s world has gone crazy. He learned he’s not the biological son of Howard Stark, a reborn Doctor Doom (younger with no scars and no armor) is offered Tony an in order to stop Madame Masque who’s on a strange crime spree stealing mystical artifacts.

And he’s not as rich as he used to be. He actually sold Stark/Avengers Tower. Oh and his new girlfriend may have a secret that would make them both targets of angry X-Men and other mutants.
