Marvel’s ongoing Star Wars comics set after A New Hope are the new canon and make you feel like the film never ended. The Lando and Chewbacca limited series were stellar. Now we have Obi-Wan and Anakin. With the success of The Force Awakens can we please have a limited series starring Captain Phasma and the Stormtrooper who would become Finn or an adventure with Rey? DC vs Marvel at the box office, one of the X-Men’s greatest enemies strikes, a Star Wars legend revealed, two huge video game inspired fantasies and two of the naughtiest comic book films yet.

The BFG
Steven Spielberg directs this children’s tale of a young girl and a big friendly giant fighting to stop an army of evil, hungry giants. July 1.
Passengers
When Mystique met Peter Quill? No, but Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt star in a sci-fi romance from the director of The Intimidation Game. Pratt plays a man who awakens from his ship’s sleep chamber too early and awakens another from hibernation rather than live and die alone. December 21. Black Panther
After playing a central role as King of the Dead and The Illuminati in Jonathan Hickman’s New Avengers/Secret Wars epic, T’Challa returns to his Wakanda in a brand new series and officially joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
T’Challa and Namor are leading an assault on Doctor Doom in Secret Wars #9 finale in January and T’Challa is now a member of the new Ultimates.
Time to peer into the future and predict the characters to watch in 2016. Major changes, big anniversaries and unusual comebacks are in store for some of your favorite heroes and hated villains.

Mockingbird
The kick butt comeback of Barbara “Bobbi” Morse continues as she battles spies and terrorists on Agents of SHIELD and spins off into a pilot for her own potential series. In the Marvel March 2016 previews it states a X-Man dies but who and how?
The new Uncanny X-Men by Cullen Bunn and Greg Land arrives in January but is a member already marked for death?
The Master of Magnetism will lead a pro-active squad including Mystique, Sabretooth, Psylocke, Fantomex and Monet taking the fight to any threats to mutants. In the post-Secret Wars world, mutants are dying after exposure to the Terrigen Mists. Apocalypse is rising again.
Magneto’s team of killers, villains and rogues will fight the Dark Riders in Uncanny X-Men #4, #5. This 90’s team of henchmen for Apocalypse were made of Inhumans who followed En Sabah Nur.
Here’s the official word on the ominous issue five:
“The final confrontation between the Uncanny X-Men and the Dark Riders! One X-Man is dead and the world’s deadliest team of mutants is eager to deliver retribution. But what price will they pay to exact their revenge?”
Magneto, Mystique, Sabretooth, Fantomex, Psylocke, Monet or someone else who’s not on the team? Who will die? Will death mean death?

Avengers Standoff officially kicks off with Assault on Pleasant Hill Alpha #1 by Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz. The crossover blasts into All-New, All-Different Avengers, New Avengers and Uncanny Avengers. Estranged friends Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers unite to save a friend but two Caps will not be enough so Assemble the crossover.
