The 2015 Wizard World Tour comes back to Portland with its third trip to the Oregon Convention Center at Wizard World Portland Comic Con, January 23-25. Norman Reedus (“The Walking Dead,” ), Stephen Amell (“Arrow,”), Evan Peters (X-Men: Days of Future Past, “American Horror Story”), Tyler Posey (“Teen Wolf” ), Lena Headey (“Game of Thrones,” 300) and the “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” duo of Ming-Na Wen and Brett Dalton headline the roster of celebrity guests scheduled to attend the pop culture event, the second one on Wizard World’s calendar of 24 Comic Cons in 2015.
Fans of “The Walking Dead” are in for a thrill, as, in addition to Reedus, more stars of the hit series will attend. Michael Cudlitz, who plays “Sgt. Abraham Ford,” Sarah Wayne Callies (“Lori Grimes”), Steven Yeun (“Glenn Rhee”), Josh McDermitt (“Dr. Eugene Porter”), Michael Rooker (“Merle Dixon”) and Scott Wilson (“Herschel Greene”) are all scheduled.
Amell, Cudlitz, Dalton, Headey, McDermitt, Peters, Posey, Reedus and Yeun will appear on Saturday and Sunday, while Wen will attend on Saturday only. Callies, Rooker and Wilson will appear all three days.
Other Wizard World Portland Comic Con guests include Katie Cassidy (“Arrow,”), Bruce Campbell (The Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”), Yaphet Kotto (“Alien”), Eliza Dushku (“Buffy The Vampire Slayer,”), Alan Tudyk “Firefly”), Jason David Frank (“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers,” “My Morphin Life”), Lou Ferrigno (“The Incredible Hulk”).
Wizard World brings top comics artists and writers including legendary X-Men writer Chris Claremont and Julian Totino Tedesco (“X-Treme X-Men,” “X-Force”), Dean Haspiel (“Bored to Death,” “Billy Dogma”), Ethan Van Sciver (“Green Lantern,” “Justice League”), Arthur Suydam (“Marvel Zombies,” “Army of Darkness”), Kevin Wada (She-Hulk) and many others.
Wizard World Portland Comic Con show hours are Friday, January 23, 3-8 p.m.; Saturday, January 24, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Costume Contest will take place on Saturday, January 24, at 7 p.m. The Kids Costume Contest will be held on Sunday, January 25.
