Jason Momoa (Game of Thrones, Conan) is in talks to join the Man of Steel sequel featuring the showdown between Superman (Henry Cavill) and Batman (Ben Affleck) according to The Hollywood Reporter.
After playing Khal Drogo in Games of Thrones and Conan, Momoa has the build and can unleash the ferocity to play Doomsday, the Kryptonian made monster who killed Kal-El in the classic storyline Death of Superman.
Cavill picked Doomsday at his favorite villain while reading comics to research the role. Having the genetically engineered madman in the film will continue with the themes of Kryptonian science in the first film.
One theory is that Momoa could play another famous DC Comics hero. The sequel will have Batman (Ben Affleck) and Wonder Woman (Gal Gadot) so could Momoa be member of the Justice League:
Martian Manhunter (J’onn J’onzz) is a Martian with multiple powers trapped on Earth. He’s a founding member of the Justice League but currently serves in Stormwatch. The team has often fought the “White Martians” a sect of the Red Planet that are rivals with J’onn’s green Martians.
J’onzz is not just the build but the commanding voice. I could see Martian Manhunter as the moral center to balance Batman and Superman.
When I see Momoa I imagine him as a powerful Black Adam (Teth-Adam) but this magically powered superman is a villain of Shazam/Captain Marvel.

It’s soon after The Dark Knight Rises but Momoa has the build for Bane!
