The superstars are aligning and blasting to Seattle for the 15th Anniversary of Emerald City Comicon, the biggest pop culture event in the Pacific Northwest.
Future Aquaman and Game of Thrones veteran Jason Momoa , Jeremy Renner Hawkeye of The Avengers, Ant-Man & The Wasp star Evangeline Lilly, Outlander stars Caitriona Balfe and Sam Heughan, Vincent D’Onofrio, the Kingpin of Daredevil, Millie Bobby Brown and Shannon Purser of Stranger Things are making their ECCC debut.
The cast of celebrity guests including Michael Rooker and Sean Gunn aka The Ravagers of Guardians of the Galaxy, Peter Mayhew aka Chewbacca of Star Wars, Jon Bernthal aka The Punisher and a group of voice actors behind beloved animated characters.
Stan Lee will return for his final ECCC appearance. The legendary co-creator of Fantastic Four, Spider-Man, X-Men, Hulk and hundreds more Marvel heroes and villains is a must see to just witness the energy, humor, history and stories you can only get from this comics titan. Lee and Todd McFarlane will headline an “amazing, spectacular, sensational” panel about the friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. Lee co-created Peter Parker. McFarlane became a comic book sensation with drawing then writing the 1990’s Spidey adventures. These two legendary creators will share their memories and the main stage on March 4 at 5:45pm.
Fans should check here to the schedules for each celebrity guest including panels, autograph and photograph sessions available to buy ahead of time. Some stars are appearing on a specific day or days of the four day event.
The Founding Fathers of Image Comics: Todd McFarlane, Rob Liefeld, , Whilce Portacio, Marc Silvestri, Erik Larsen, Jim Valentino will join the big event along with Image/Skybound’s Robert Kirkman of The Walking Dead.
Liefeld will be joined by his fellow Deadpool, X-Force collaborator, writer Fabian Nicieza, who helped guide the X-Men, New Warriors and some of the biggest Marvel stories of the 1990’s.
More of comics top talent will be here with must see panels from DC, Image, Marvel and Valiant. With Image Comics biggest creators and a two hour panel scheduled for day one, expect a ton of exciting announcements blasting off from the Seattle event.
ECCC Western Championships of Cosplay kick off a global competition for the most cosplayer on the planet with more championships at ReedPop around the globe. This Valkyrie was one of the 2016 ECCC finalists.
Dark Heron, the superhero and official ECCC brew will return thanks to Fremont Brewing and ReedPop. The exclusive official beer of ECCC will be rebooted with new flavors and the Dark Hero character will be revamped by Seattle cartoonist Jen Vaughn.
