The Man Without Fear kicks off four new series followed by a mini-series event by Marvel TV and Netflix.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage will star in four new series exclusively to the world’s leading Internet TV Network beginning in 2015.
The epic “will unfold over multiple years of original programming, taking Netflix members deep into the gritty world of heroes and villains of Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Netflix has committed to a minimum of four, thirteen episodes series and a culminating Marvel’s “The Defenders” mini-series event that reimagines a dream team of self-sacrificing, heroic characters.”
Produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Television Studios, this groundbreaking deal is Marvel’s most ambitious foray yet into live-action TV storytelling.

What do you think? I was still hoping for a Marvel Knights movie trilogy with Daredevil, Cage and Iron Fist with Jessica Jones as the character tying them together.

Daredevil aka Matt Murdock is a blind defense attorney by day and masked vigilante by night in Hell’s Kitchen, New York. Exposure to radiation blinded Matt but gave him a radar sense and heightened other senses. He was then raised by a martial arts master.
Luke Cage was born in Harlem and went to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. An experimental procedure gave Cage indestructible skin and he was became a “hero for hire” and then an Avenger.
Iron Fist aka Danny Rand is a billionaire who discovered the ancient mystical realm of Kun Lun and became a martial arts master and gained the power of the “Iron Fist.” Luke and Danny are best friends and partners in crime fighting.
Jessica Jones is a former superhero called Jewel who became a private detective in her own series Alias. ABC did produce a pilot for a television series AKA Jessica Jones but wasn’t picked up. Jessica and Luke are now married with a little girl.
What’s exciting is that does this mean we’ll see Misty Knight and Colleen Wing (aka Daughters of the Dragon) who are often partners of Cage and Rand. Misty and Danny once were an item.
And of course with Daredevil…there must be the Kingpin!
