MARVEL’S THE DEFENDERS First Trailer

Marvel shared the first trailer for The Defenders.

The Netflix series unites Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist.

We see our first look at the villain (Sigourney Weaver) and the return of two iconic Daredevil characters: Stick and Elektra.

LUKE CAGE New Comic, New Mystery

2017 is looking like the Year of the Cage, Fist, Devil…and Jones, Jessica Jones. Luke Cage is smashing into a new comic book but it’s a different adventure for the Hero for Hire.

Marvel announced via CBR a new Luke Cage ongoing series by David Walker and artist Blake Nelson II with covers by Rahzzah. After relaunch Power Man and Iron Fist, Walker continues Cage’s story. Marvel superhero Luke Cage breaks out the new trailer for the next Marvel Netflix original series.

Spinning off from Jessica Jones, Luke Cage (Mike Colter) is the story of a man who survived a sabotaged experiment that gave him super strength and unbreakable skin. Cage becomes a fugitive who wants to rebuild his life in Harlem, New York. Cage wants to live off the radar but answers the call to become a hero.

Old school fans will spot an homage to Cage’s original costume when he was Power Man.

Gritty, action-packed and with Cage as lead…cool.

The new series picks up after Cage’s breakup with private detective Jessica Jones and reveals his origin.

Marvel’s Jessica Jones is on Netflix. Krysten Ritter is the former superhero turned private investigator is the second of five streaming series. Based on Alias by Brian Michael Bendis and Michael Gaydos, this tough heroine may be Marvel’s darkest, grittiest project yet.

Jessica Jones introduces Mike Colter as Luke Cage, David Tennant as villain Killgrave – The Purple Man plus supporting characters Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) and Jeryn Hogarth (Carrie-Ann Moss).
