Has Marvel found their villain for the Luke Cage Netflix show?
Alfre Woodard has joined the cast of Marvel’s Luke Cage according to Deadline as a character named Minetta, “a powerful woman in politics who will have an impact on Cage’s life” but the story reports she will actually be based on Black Mariah, a drug dealer who often clashed with Cage and Iron Fist in the comics.
No official word on the casting on potential character.
Mike Colter is playing Luke Cage in the third of four Marvel/Netflix series. Colter will be introduced in AKA Jessica Jones.
Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist shows will culminate in The Defenders series.
