Australian actor Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) will star in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes according The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision. Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In) will direct the sequel said to be set 15 years after the events of the first film. Andy Serkis will reprise his role as Caesar. No word on if Clarke will play a human or ape. Clarke gave an intense performance as a CIA agent/torturer in Zero Dark Thirty. No word yet on if Rise of the Planet of the Apes stars James Franco or Frieda Pinto will be back.

I just hope we have more gorillas (General Urko, anyone) in the sequel! Yes, my obsession includes Planet of the Apes movies, books, comics. I had the Ape City toy action set as a kid.
