Who is the voice of  teaser asking fans if we feel the awakening?

Good Morning America confirmed actor Andy Serkis (Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) is the narrator. No official word on this role in the film.

The show revealed the 88 second trailer only shows 39 seconds of actual film footage including oactors Jon Boyega and Daisy Ridley and a hooded figure armed with a new version of the lightsabre.

ANDY SERKIS On AVENGERS: AGE OF ULTRON Role

Andy Serkis (Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, Lord of the Rings) is a motion-capture consultant on Avengers: Age of Ultron and Star Wars VII and now reveals he has an expanded role in the Marvel sequel according to Variety.

 

“The Imaginarium is the performance capture consultant, and I’m playing a role in both films. On The Avengers, I’ve been working closely with Mark Ruffalo,” Serkis said.

Apes vs. Humans in future ravaged by a man manufactured virus.

 

Fox revealed the final trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

 

Andy Serkis is Caesar, the genetically modified Ape building an ape civilization in the woods.

 

Gary Oldman (The Dark Knight Trilogy) leads human survivors in the wreckage of a ruined city.

 

Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) is a human hoping to keep the peace but factions on both sides could make war inevitable.

DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES Trailer

The first trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes is here from Fox.

 

The always engaging Gary Oldman speaks to a band of humans as we see images of the war and life on earth now after the spread of the virus in the final moments of Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Jason Clarke plays a human who goes into the forest in searching of Caesar.

 

When we finally see Caesar (Andy Serkis returns)…well, he’s changed from the cuddly chimp we first saw.

ZERO DARK THIRTY Star in PLANET OF THE APES Sequel

Australian actor Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty) will star in Dawn of the Planet of the Apes according The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision. Matt Reeves (Cloverfield, Let Me In) will direct the sequel said to be set 15 years after the events of the first film. Andy Serkis will reprise his role as Caesar. No word on if Clarke will play a human or ape. Clarke gave an intense performance as a CIA agent/torturer in Zero Dark Thirty. No word yet on if Rise of the Planet of the Apes stars James Franco or Frieda Pinto will be back.
