So much for most of my theories on the one word teaser for Resurrection.
It is a new arc of X-Men by Brian Wood and Kris Anka. It promoted a 3-issue arc called Ghosts according to Comic Book Resources. The new arc follows Muertas which introduces a new Sisterhood of Evil Mutants led by a newly redesigned Lady Deathstrike and non-mutant villains (Enchantress, Typhoid Mary) in her squad.
The all-female X-Men will face an enemy blames the mutants for nearly killing her. So who could that be?
Let’s look at some unusual suspects:
Madelyne Pryor lead the first Sisterhood against the Uncanny X-Men during Matt Fraction’s run when the mutants relocated to San Francisco.
Cassandra Nova turned up in the pages of Uncanny X-Forces so she’s taken.
The vampiric mutant Selene was vanquished in the Necrosha crossover.
Zaladane was a sorceress of the Savage Land who took the powers of Polaris but was impaled by Magneto way back in the arc just before the milestone X-Men #1 by Claremont and Lee.
