X-Force vs. X-Force! The New Year kicks off with bangs as the two teams go to war. Marvel announced Vendetta at New York Comic Con. The fight between Cable’s crew and Psylocke’s squad will blast all through this month.
Bad blood and old scores will be settled in Vendetta coming to UNCANNY X-FORCE and CABLE & X-FORCE from the creative teams of Sam Humphries and Harvey Tolibao and Dennis Hopeless and Angel Unzueta.
“For years, the mutant Bishop relentlessly chased Cable and his adopted daughter Hope Summers through time and space on a mission to wipe her out of existence. Though they narrowly escaped with their lives, the scars still remain. Now, the man who has haunted Hope’s dreams has returned to the present – and he’s working with their fellow X-Men?!
Hope is out for blood, and nobody is going to stand in her way, even if she has to take down all of Uncanny X-Force to get it! But as Hope exacts her revenge, a much greater threat closes in from the shadows – and one of the X-Men’s deadliest villains returns!”
“When I took the reins on CABLE & X-FORCE and UNCANNY X-FORCE, I knew a crossover of the two books would be inevitable,” series editor Daniel Ketchum tells Marvel.com. “I’m so excited about the story Dennis and Sam have cooked up…it delivers exactly what I’d want to read in an X-Force event!”
Vendetta begins in strikes in CABLE & X-FORCE #18 this Wednesday. Here’s how the story continues this month.

This crossover should be a hit in the heart for fans of the 90’s era as Cable and Bishop continue their blood feud.
Hopeless, Humphries and Ketchum are using the X-Men’s past in a great way to propel the renegade X-teams forward.
The battle begins this week in CABLE AND X-FORCE #18 leading to an all-new, one and only X-FORCE series later this year.
