But the big bad is Hela! Oscar winner Cate Blanchett joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the Goddess of Death.

Karl Urban is Skurge the Executioner. Tessa Thompson is Valkyrie, known in comics and mythology as “choosers of the slain” who guide dead Viking warriors to Valhalla. Jeff Goldblum is The Grandmaster, ruler of Sakaar, and in the comics is one of the Elders of the Universe like The Collector from GotG.
How did Banner end up on the planet? In the comics epic PLANET HULK, Iron Man launched Hulk into space on an empty planet but crashed on Sakaar instead where he became a gladiator slave who eventually led a revolt and found his way back to Earth.
The biggest shocker: HULK vs. Is that SURTUR the fire demon!? The Green Goliath also tangles with Fenris a demon wolf from Thor canon.
Tom Hiddleston returns as Loki, who Thor will trust yet again.
