Before Captain America vs. Iron Man in Civil War, before Batman vs. Superman in the Dawn of Justice….there is Wolverine vs. Thor…sort of.

Hugh Jackman (promoting Chappie) was the guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon playing a game of musical beers with cast members from Saturday Night Live including this week’s guest host Chris Hemsworth.

It’s musical chairs with music by Questlove and beers but why are Jackman and Hemsworth in wigs?

I couldn’t help but be reminded of Logan and the Odinson’s bar brawl back in Wolverine #5 here.
Watch, enjoy and happy weekend! Continue reading HUGH JACKMAN vs CHRIS HEMSWORTH in BEER BATTLE

Wolverine joined Earth’s Mightiest Heroes in New Avengers by Brian Michael  Bendis.

Hugh Jackman thinks it’s possible the X-Man could join the Avengers on the big screen.

Fox controls the X-Men and Fantastic Four film rights. After Sony and Disney reached an agreement allowing Spider-Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, could Logan and mutants co-star in film with the Avengers?

During an interview to promote his role in Chappie, Yahoo Movies asked the question on every Marvel fan’s mind: Continue reading HUGH JACKMAN On WOLVERINE AVENGERS Movie

Wolverine is back for Secret Wars.

The Logan you love is still dead but Old Man Logan is back in a new tie-in series as that brutal future reality becomes a Warzone of Battleworld.

Brian Bendis and Andrea Sorrentino bring back the future X-Man from the Old Man Logan epic by Mark Millar and Steve McNiven.

In the original eight-issue story the former Wolverine refuses to use his claws and teams up with a now-blind Hawkeye on a mission to find his daughter in a world conquered and carved up by super villains. Continue reading OLD MAN LOGAN in SECRET WARS

Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellen may not finished as Professor X and Magneto in the X-Men franchise.

While Stewart is not appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse, he says McKellen will be.

“Yes, I understand that it seems to be very unlikely that I will be in the next “X-Men” movie, which is almost getting ready to start shooting in Montreal,” Stewart tells Oregon Live. “…But Magneto, Ian McKellen, is certainly going to be in it.”

The sequel pits the mutants against the first mutant, En Sabah Nur aka Apocalyspe, played by Oscar Isaac. The story is set in the 1980’s and Michael Fassbender will return as Magneto. Continue reading PATRICK STEWART & IAN McKELLEN in Future X-MEN Movies

“I Want My X-TV!”

Fox wants to mutate their X-Men movie franchise into a new television series. If Marvel and Fox reach an agreement which mutants could make the leap to television?

Here are our top candidates for X-TV:

X-Factor

Imagine “mutant noir.”

The long-running series by Peter David would be a fresh quirky take on another side of the Fox’s X-Men universe like Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is for the Marvel Avengers Universe.

X-Factor is filled with charismatic mutants who didn’t attend Xavier’s and was filled with romantic complications, inter-agency love triangles, conspiracies and unique villains. Continue reading X-MEN Television Series For Your Consideration

Marvel shared a first look inside Spider-Man and the X-Men #1.

Spider-Man is keeping a promise to Wolverine by joining the Jean Grey School as the new guidance counselor and undercover operative in a brand new series.

With students like Shark Girl, Eye Boy and Quentin Quire – former odd teenager Peter Parker should find a way to connect with the kids. What will Storm and the adult X-Men think of Spidey joining the school?

Newcomers Elliott Kalan and Marco Failla are the creative team behind the new X-book.  Spidey and his students face a classic X-villain in their first adventure: Sauron! Continue reading Inside SPIDER-MAN AND THE X-MEN #1
