The Force Awakens Comics

Marvel’s ongoing Star Wars comics set after A New Hope are the new canon and make you feel like the film never ended. The Lando and Chewbacca limited series were stellar. Now we have Obi-Wan and Anakin. With the success of The Force Awakens can we please have a limited series starring Captain Phasma and the Stormtrooper who would become Finn or an adventure with Rey? Missing Daisy Johnson (aka Quake) now that Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is on break after the massive midseason finale: Maveth?

Daisy’s comic book counterpart turned up with a new role in comics in this week’s All-New Inhumans #2 by James Asmus, Charles Soule and Stefano Caselli.

Crystal is a member of the Attilan Royal Family and acting as an Ambassador to the world. The former Avenger and ex-wife of Quicksilver is confident and cool leading a squad of veteran and new Inhumans around the globe to protect NuHumans and show the rest of the humanity they have nothing to fear. Mockingbird flies solo in her first ongoing comic book series in 2016.

Barbara “Bobbi” Morse is flying high with this new book, Adrianne Palicki is kicking butt as Bobbi on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and potentially getting a spinoff show. (Marvel’s Most Wanted.)

Marvel.com shared a first look at art and new insight from writer Chelsea Cain.

Success of the S.H.I.E.L.D. 50th Anniversary Mockingbird one-shot by Cain led to this new ongoing series. Cain is back with artist Kate Niemcyzk for the new adventures of Mockingbird.

Turns out Marvel’s hive of evil is more ancient than we knew and strangely connected to the Inhumans.

A bombshell packed Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. episode revealed the secret history of Hydra. The revelation is tied to Gemma’s lost love on the alien planet and could lead to the introduction of most powerful Inhumans in the Marvel Universe.

Avengers Standoff: Welcome to Pleasant Hill #1 by Nick Spencer before launching in the Avengers titles and Captain America: Sam Wilson #6 hailed as “The Road to Standoff starts here.”
