The first shows Red Skull in full Onslaught armor apparently recruiting Alex Summers aka Havok?
Havok is leader of Uncanny Avengers but after the events of the series (he fell in love with Wasp and they shared a child in an alternate timeline) is Alex willing to fight with the villain to bring his daughter back?
The second shows an arrogant Tony Stark raising a toast while someone places blame on him…but for what?
Tony will become a Superior Iron Man in a brand new series by Tom Taylor which sees Tony in a new silver suit and relocated to San Francisco with ambitious plans for Extremis.
But what are the Red Skull’s plans for the Armored Avenger?
Who is blaming Tony and for what?
If you’ve been reading Jonathan Hickman’s Avengers and New Avengers, you know Steve is furious with Tony and The Illuminati’s secret plans to kill alternate worlds to protect ours.
Both teams are dealing with loss, distrust and tension. It’s a perfect time for Red Skull to exercise his new mutant powers to tempt and twist heroes to his side.
AXIS Act Two will be the Inversion of Marvel heroes and villains as they switch roles.
