New IRON MAN Is IRONHEART

We know know the code-name of Marvel’s next generation hero.

Tony Stark’s successor as Iron Man will be a teenager girl named Riri Williams.

Marvel revealed her code-name (via Wired) will be Ironheart.

The 15 year old genius appeared in the current Invincible Iron Man #7 and impressed Stark after building her own armor

Ironheart will be the star of the relaunching Invincible Iron Man with Brian Michael Bendis still writing and joined by artist Stefano Caselli.

Bendis revealed how Marvel selected this code-name for Stark’s successor.

MARVEL Kills Off AVENGER In CIVIL WAR II

When superheroes go to war…no one is safe… not even a founding Avenger!

A major Marvel icon was killed off in Civil War II #3.

The identity of the killer may be even more shocking.

The previous chapter ended with a cliffhanger. Ulysses (the new Inhuman with visions of the future) saw the Hulk killing several of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. Carol Danvers was seen approaching Dr. Bruce Banner (who is free of the Hulk thanks to Amadeus Cho.)

The shock and awe continued this week with a shocking death from creators Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez. How did we get here and why was this character marked for death?

NEW IRON MAN Is A Woman

A new Iron Man arrives for the Marvel Now!

Marvel announced via Time that Riri Williams will become the new star of Invincible Iron Man. The new character will armor up when Tony Stark is out in the aftermath of Civil War II.

There’s no official word yet on if Stark will quit, be forced out or possibly die in the superhero conflict.

Riri is an African-American teen genius at MIT who grabs Stark’s attention when she builds her own Iron Man suit…in her dorm.

CIVIL WAR II New INHUMAN, New Art Revealed

Marvel is on the verge of war.

Creators of the superhero showdown revealed big new details, shared new art and answered fan questions in a special Marvel live event.

Invincible Iron Man launch team Brian Michael Bendis and David Marquez are writing and drawing the main seven issue series. The fan-favorite creators were joined by Editor-In-Chief Axel Alonso, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort.

The story begins with a Free Comic Book issue by Bendis and Jim Cheung, then a Zero issue with artist Olivier Coipel and an epilogue.
