GOTHAM Our Top Burning Question

Gotham premiered last night.

 

The new series explores the origin stories of Batman’s greatest ally and enemies. The first episode was packed with the Dark Knight’s most infamous rogues before they went bad but there’s one burning question and it’s not about the Riddler.

 

In the first episode Jim Gordon and Harvey Bullock pursue who killed Thomas and Martha Wayne. The trail leads to Fish Mooney (a new character created for the series) and Oswald Cobblepot, a scary Robin Lord-Taylor. A young street thief named Selina Kyle and troubled young girl named Ivy are introduced. Gordon and Bullock turn to forensic scientist Edward Nygma for help on the case. BRETT DALTON On WARD In AGENTS OF SHIELD Season Two

One of the biggest twists of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season One was the betrayal of Grant Ward played by Brett Dalton.

 

Ward was a traitor all along working for John Garrett (aka The Clairvoyant.) At first fans thought Ward could be a double agent and the shooting of Victoria Hand was staged. Ward’s body count kept rising as we raced to the finale in which he nearly killed former teammates.

MOST WANTED For GOTHAM

Gotham reveals the early origins of the Dark Knight’s allies and enemies. The new television series focuses on rookie detective Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) with Harvey Bullock (Donal Logue) fighting crime in the city that gave birth to Batman.

 

Robin Lord Taylor portrays Oswald Cobblepot as he’s on the path to becoming the Penguin. Cory Michael Smith is Edward Nygma before he becomes the Riddler. Camren Bicondova plays Selina Kyle as a teen thief before she’s Catwoman. The future Poison Ivy and Mr. Freeze are scheduled to appear this premiere season. The Falcone and Moroni mobster familes are sure to appear.

BRYAN SINGER Confirmed To Direct X-MEN: APOCALYPSE

Bryan Singer will return to direct X-Men: Apocalypse and three favorite team members will be recast.

 

Singer signed on with Fox for the 2016 release according to Deadline and from this synopsis, fans can look forward to seeing younger versions of Scott Summers, Jean Grey and Storm.
The sequel is being scripted by Simon Kinberg from a story written by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris.

STORM & FORGE Reunion

An X-Men reunion this week in Storm #3.

 

Greg Pak brings Forge back in Ororo’s life after an intense showdown way back in a Warren Ellis epic called Ghost Boxes.

 

Forge was Storm’s great love after she lost her powers but they didn’t last. Forge was responsible for Storm’s loss of mutant ability. Ororo moved on to Black Panther then Wolverine.
