Marvel fans are bracing for INFINITY! The huge cosmic event kicks off in August. The Avengers head into space to face aliens racing to Earth while Thanos launches a sneak attack on our planet. Avengers World was the first arc by Jonathan Hickman. Now it will take an Avengers Universe to defeat the Mad God of Titan and the mysterious Builders.

 

Hickman and Executive Editor Tom Brevoort previewed the massive storyline with first looks at incredible images from the all-star art team in today’s Marvel.com liveblog.

Multiple universes will suffer the consequences of Wolverine’s actions in Age of Ultron! Earth’s Mightiest Heroes found a way to stop Ultron but Logan’s time jumps have ruptured the continuum! Angela has been pulled into the Marvel Universe. Galactus was transported into the Ultimate Universe – and he’s hungry!

 

Age of Ultron writer Brian Michael Bendis, new Ultimate Comics Ultimates writer Joshua Fialkov, Executive Editor Tom Brevoort and Ultimate Comics Editor Mark Panicca previewed the aftermath of Age of Ultron #10 in Marvel liveblog.

 

HUNGER will be a four-part series kicking off in July in which the Ultimate Universe faces the threat of Galactus! Bendis explains how the events of AoU inspired ideas of how it could impact the Marvel multiverse:

BIOSHOCK Writer for LOGAN’S RUN Remake

I absolutely love Logan’s Run – the concept, the book, the future mythology and even that 1977 movie starring Michael York, Richard Jordan, Jenny Agutter and Farrah Fawcett-Majors!

Bioshock video game creator Ken Levine has been recruited to write a script for a remake for Warner Brothers according to Deadline. Bryan Singer (X-Men) and Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) who would likely cast Ryan Gosling have been linked to the project over the years.

Uncanny Avengers Welcomes Salvador Larroca

Red Skull. Kang. Apocalypse Twins. Onslaught. The new unity team of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and Children of the Atom faces a unholy army of villains. Captain America and Wolverine’s Unity Team may get some reinforcements in Uncanny Avengers #12 from Cable and X-Force!

One of the big reasons I’m sharing this story is because celebrated artist Salvador Larroca (X-Men, Invincible Iron Man and currently Cable and X-Force) is joining the September issue focusing on Kang the Conqueror.
