Marvel announced 45 new books as part of the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.
Here are the top 4 we’re most excited for this fall:
Doctor Strange
If there was ever a perfect marriage of character and creators this it. When I saw the announcement: Doctor Strange by Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo, I immediately imagined the new magic Aaron will bring after rocking the Thor mythos and I loved the weird and wonderful Wolverine and the X-Men run by Aaron and Bachalo. I mean, come on, they made Toad, Husk and Krakoa compelling and endearing!
Ultimates
Having Black Panther leading his own Avengers team was one of our top wishes and considered it granted. T’Challa leads Blue Marvel, Miss America, Spectrum and Captain Marvel. Writer Al Ewing and artist Kenneth Rocafort craft a new team for “ultimate problems need ultimate solutions” T’Challa is a born leader, genius and tactical mastermind willing to make bold moves to get the job done. But our big question: is Galactus their ally or enemy?
Scarlet Witch
James Robinson (Fantastic Four) and artist Kevin Wada (She-Hulk) will have fans “seeing red…” as they continue the redemption of Wanda Maximoff. After playing the victim and villain in past years, Wanda is learning more about her past but I’m hoping it’s time for Wanda to be the strong, confident mistress of magic.
Extraordinary X-Men
Feared, hated and now facing a new threat. Jeff Lemire (Hawkeye) and Humberto Ramos (Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men) are the new creative team on the next X-Men flagship book. Storm, young Jean Grey, Old Man Logan, Iceman, Colossus, Magik, Nightcrawler will take the lead in a bold new world where a mutant/Inhuman cold war has flared up. How is Terrigenesis affecting mutant genes and what happened to Cyclops? Plus, this confirms our top Marvel wish: young Jean Grey is staying!
What’s the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now book you’re most excited to read? Which hero or teams are missing?
