Two Marvel super groups, Batmen united and a new Wolverine make this week’s top new comics picks:

All-New, All-Different Avengers #1

Earth’s Mightiest heroes are no more until a threat from space leads to the assembling of a new team. Iron Man, Captain America and Thor are joined by Ms. Marvel, Nova, Vision and a new Spider-Man. Mark Waid, Adam Kubert and Mahmud Asrar launch the new chapter of Marvel’s biggest team.

The original Ultimates were the Avengers of Marvel’s Ultimate Universe. In the aftermath of Secret Wars Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Spectrum, Miss America and Blue Marvel form a new Ultimates, a new kind of team for the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.

One of our top new Marvel books we’re most excited about is Ultimates.

Here are the top 4 we’re most excited for this fall:

Doctor Strange

If there was ever a perfect marriage of character and creators this it. When I saw the announcement: Doctor Strange by Jason Aaron and Chris Bachalo, I immediately imagined the new magic Aaron will bring after rocking the Thor mythos and I loved the weird and wonderful Wolverine and the X-Men run by Aaron and Bachalo. Is Marvel putting an end to the Ultimate Universe and comics imprint?

 

After a series of teasers suggesting new versions of classic stories like Civil War, and Planet Hulk coming in 2015 – this teaser is for a brand new event that no one from Earth 1610 will survive.

 

Ultimate Comics was born in 2000 with reimagined and modern takes on classic Marvel heroes and villains. Ultimate Spider-Man (by Brian Michael Bendis) and Ultimate X-Men (by Mark Millar) were the first titles followed by the Ultimates, which became the inspiration for The Avengers movie and Samuel L.
