The original TV Barry Allen will meet the new Barry Allen!
John Wesley Shipp will star in The CW’s pilot for The Flash according to The Hollywood Reporter. Shipp played the DC Comics hero in a short-lived CBS series in the 1990’s.
Shipp will guest star in the pilot but his role has not been revealed.
Grant Gustin (Glee) stars as the Flash in the new version spinning off Allen’s appearance on Arrow. Allen is a Central City police forensic expert who becomes a speedster in scarlet fighting crime as “the Fastest Man Alive.”
DC Comics has a new creative team for The Flash comic book that will bring back Wally West, the third Flash.
