The World’s Fastest Man Alive is speeding over to a new network. The Flash is racing to National City to meet Supergirl (Melissa Benoist).

CBS announced (via DC Comics) Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen from The CW’s The Flash will be crossing over into an episode of the CBS freshman hit show Supergirl. The episode is set to air on Monday, March 28th. Continue reading THE FLASH On SUPERGIRL

THE FLASH, New Poster, Big Shocks

Grant Gustin as Barry Allen is feeling the shock and awe in this brand new poster courtesy DC Comics for the sophomore season of The Flash.

The new season introduces the DC Multiverse to the series starring the Scarlet Speedster.

The Multiverse means more men who have or will share the famous code-name incluidng Earth 2 Flash Jay Garrick (Teddy Sears) and Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) who becomes Kid Flash in the comics.

The Flash returns October 6th at 8pm on The CW.

Big changes for The Flash as the Scarlet Speedster will be sporting a new costume for Season Two.

Here’s a look at Grant Gustin in his new look for The Flash courtesy Deadline.

Costume designer Maya Mani  also was behind the new costume for Arrow which Stephen Amell shared at Comic Con.

ZOOM, JAY GARRICK on THE FLASH Season Two

Two new characters from DC Comics canon hit The Flash season two.

At the “Warner Bros. Television Presents A Night of DC Entertainment” Comic-Con panel producers revealed Teddy Sears (Masters of Sex) will play Jay Garrick this season.

In the comics, Garrick was the very first Flash, and is known for his winged silver helmet. Careful watchers may have glimpsed briefly in the Season One finale.

Spinning off of Arrow, The CW launched The Flash to major acclaim from fans. Grant Gustin is Barry Allen in a first season that introduced classic Rogues, fan-favorite supporting players and a crossover with the cast of Arrow.

DC Comics announced the first season of the his series will arrive this Fall giving fans even more access behind the scenes of the show starring the Scarlet Speedster.

The team behind The Flash have unleashed classic DC villains against Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) on the hit new CW series.

The Scarlet Speedster’s rogues gallery is so popular they’re called The Rogues!

After a break the series returns with Revenge of the Rogues. Episode 10 marks the return of Captain Cold and Heatwave (Wentworth Miller, Dominic Purcell)

The extended trailer courtesy The CW includes Pied Piper, Reverse-Flash and a mystery woman.

THE FLASH Mystery Role Revealed

John Wesley Shipp will be playing Barry Allen’s father in the upcoming series The Flash on The CW. He played the Scarlet Speedster in a short-lived CBS series in the 1990’s. Grant Gustin will play the DC Comics hero in the upcoming series.

 

“Given his history with The Flash, Andrew [Kreisberg], Geoff [Johns] and I could only think of one person we wanted to play Barry’s father and that was John Wesley Shipp,” executive producer Greg Berlanti told The Hollywood Reporter The Live Feed. “He gives a fantastic and emotional performance in the pilot, and we are looking forward to his presence in many more episodes.” Continue reading THE FLASH Mystery Role Revealed
