Paranoia infects the Marvel Universe as seen by a new round of teasers for a big event coming in September. After the “Is He?” teaser my speculation hinted at the death or return of a major character or a something connected to the upcoming Inhumanity event.
With this latest round of teasers we now know it’s the Inhumans! In the aftermath of Infinity and Black Bolt’s conflict with Thanos – it’s possible the Terrigen Mist (which give young Inhumans their powers) will spread to the Earth’s surface…and the human population.
Dr. Bruce Banner will be involved with the Inhumanity event in an effort to protect Earth from an invading force. Will he fail and humans become transformed?
Matt Fraction is writing a new Inhuman series coming in early 2014 but no one said it could be the most famous of the Kree-spawned royal family. You may recall in Son of M, Quicksilver stole Terrigen crystals to give powers back to former mutants who lost the x-gene in the Decimation – with disastrous results and even started a Silent War.
