QUEEN MEDUSA Cast For MARVEL’S INHUMANS

All hail the Queen!

Marvel announced Serinda Swan (“Ballers,” “Graceland”) will play Medusa in the Marvel’s Inhumans television series, the never-before-told adventure of the royal family. In this series, Medusa is described as Queen of the Inhumans and wife of Black Bolt — his most trusted advisor, a fiercely resilient warrior who has the ability to move and control her hair the way most people use their hands and fingers.

Medusa is one of the most powerful women in Marvel Comics. The Queen currently rules the Inhumans, vows to protect a new generation of new Inhumans and is currently at war with the X-Men.

In the upcoming television series Anson Mount will play her King, Black Bolt and Iwan Rheon will play his brother Maximus the Mad.

After invading Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.,  The Inhumans will go big screen then headline their own series.

Marvel announced The Inhumans will debut on IMAX screens before starring in their own television series on ABC.

The new series will focus on Black Bolt and the Royal Family, rulers of a hidden city of Inhumans. These classic characters have strong ties to Fantastic Four, Avengers and the X-Men. The origin of this offshoot of humanity comes from the stars when the aliens from Guardians of the Galaxy came to ancient Earth to build an army and left behind a hidden civilization among us. MARVEL Reveals New A-FORCE Creative Team

The all-female Avengers squad born in Secret Wars will getting a new creative team this Spring.

Marvel announced writer Kelly Thompson (Captain Marvel and the Carol Corps) and artist Ben Caldwell (Prez) will take over with A-Force #5.

During Secret Wars, women were the primary heroes of a realm called Arcadia. Singularity was a new heroine who joined them and escaped into the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now reality. Now this rookie is getting the band back together. Continue reading MARVEL Reveals New A-FORCE Creative Team

X-MEN VS INHUMANS?

The All-New Inhumans are coming. Hints of Marvel’s next big crossover event are being dropped. Are armies of Inhumans and X-Men assembling for what might be a genetic war in 2016?

Crystal will take command of a new squad in a book by Charles Soule, James Asmus and Stefano Caselli. This “sister” book starring Queen Medusa’s sister is part of making the outsiders an even bigger part of the new Marvel.

The Inhuman invasion continues!

 Marvel announced writers Charles Soule and James Asmus, artist Stefano Caselli will launch All-New Inhumans this December.

The new book features the return of Crystal with a new look as her classic locks have been cut. Medusa’s sister will lead a team including Gorgon, Flint, Naja, and Grid. The squad will investigate mysterious “Skyspears” popping up around the globe. The mystery objects cause an Inhuman’s power levels to spike when in their proximity.

You may recall Black Bolt unleashed a Terrigen Bomb which turned into a cloud creeping across the planet creating NuHumans. Continue reading ALL-NEW INHUMANS

The final member of Uncanny Inhumans is Fantastic!

A big week for Marvel as they revealed the rosters for the All-New, All-Different Avengers and Uncanny Inhumans. Both teams will star in Free Comic Book Day books on May 2nd and give us a preview of the post-Secret Wars Marvel Universe.

Fantastic Four may be ending in comics but the Human Torch will flame on with a new team.

Double mystery for Marvel fans as get closer to Free Comic Book Day.

Earlier Marvel revealed Ms. Marvel and the new Thor are members of the All-New, All-Different Avengers story in the FCBD issue with more of the roster to be revealed this week.

FCBD will feature a story setting up the new Uncanny Inhumans book by Charles Soule.

INHUMANS for AGENTS OF SHIELD

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns after a literally earthshaking cliffhanger:

Agent Skye and Raina are Inhumans.

Skye is actually Daisy Johnson (better known to comics readers as Quake.)

In comics Daisy’s powers are due to her father’s experiments. Kyle MacLachlan plays the scientist known as Cal aka Calvin Zabo, the twisted scientist who becomes the monstrous Mister Hyde.
