Film director, writer, co-producer Miller collaborated with an incredible roster of 65 artists to produce Mad Max: Fury Road Inspired Artists from Vertigo Comics. This is the first of several prologues in which filmmakers teamed up with top artists.
The Deluxe Edition hardcover contains double-page spreads artists bringing their own unique style to the world of Mad Max: Fury Road. Artists participating include Lee Bermejo, Dave McKean, Cliff Chiang, Nicola Scott, Stephanie Hans, Tara McPherson and more artists will share their visions inspired by Miller’s post-apocalyptic wasteland.
More Mad Max: Fury Road inspired prologues are coming from Vertigo by George Miller, Nico Lathouris and Mark Sexton. These stories will follow the characters Nux, Immortan Joe, Furiosa, and Mad Max.
MAD MAX: FURY ROAD: NUX & IMMORTAN JOE #1 on May 20, followed by MAD MAX: FURY ROAD: FURIOSA #1 and MAD MAX: FURY ROAD: MAD MAX #1 & #2. Nico Lathouris served as a co-writer on the film while Mark Sexton served as storyboard and concept artist.
