This highly anticipated movie inspired an all-star comic book collection arriving Wednesday.

Film director, writer, co-producer Miller collaborated with an incredible roster of 65 artists to produce Mad Max: Fury Road Inspired Artists from Vertigo Comics. One of the most anticipated movies of the year inspires a comic book collection of all-star creators from Vertigo.

Legendary director George Miller unleashes Mad Max: Fury Road this summer and collaborates with an incredible roster of artists to tell stories about the apocalyptic adventure.

Here’s the official announcement:

Vertigo, the innovative, boundary-pushing imprint of DC Entertainment, will collaborate with Mad Max: Fury Road director, producer and co-writer George Miller on two upcoming projects based on the film. The first is a Deluxe Edition hardcover entitled MAD MAX: FURY ROAD: INSPIRED ARTISTS, in which sixty-five top artists will create art inspired by the world of Mad Max: Fury Road. The second is four comic book stories that follow four main characters of the film and tell their prelude stories leading up to the film’s opening scene.
