IRON FIST is coming back in a big way.
The martial arts master will star in a new Marvel/Netflix series. Now Danny Rand gets his own solo series by writer/artist Kaare Andrews.
In a new interview with The Hero Complex Andrews calls Iron Fist: The Living Weapon a “bloody revenge-fueled martial arts epic” setting the stage for the upcoming television series.
In the new book Danny Rand returns to the mystical Eastern city where he was raised and trained in the martial arts following the death of his parents.
You could call Andrews the ultimate artistic weapon: he’s writing, drawing, coloring, inking and creating covers for the series.
Iron Fist: The Living Weapon #1 arrives in April. Danny was most recently part of the New Avengers. The Netflix series: Iron Fist, Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones will build up to a Defenders series.
