After the Zack Snyder directed Man of Steel sequel a Justice League movie will soar into cinemas according to a new report.
The Superman vs. Batman film starts production next month. Henry Cavill returns as Clark/Kal El, Ben Affleck will play Batman and Gal Gadot is Wonder Woman. Ray Fisher was just cast as Cyborg but no word on if he will just play scientist Victor Stone or become the half-machine hero in the film.
Warner Brothers President of worldwide production Greg Silverman says the studio has started planning a Justice League film next.
“It will be a further expansion of this universe,” Silverman told Wall Street Journey Speakeasy, “’Superman vs Batman’ will lead into ‘Justice League.’”
Cavill, Affleck and Gadot are all expected to return. Snyder will direct the films back to back according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.
No word on which members of DC’s most famous team will appear in the film. Hal Jordan (aka Green Lantern) and Aquaman are popular members of the team. Green Arrow and The Flash are both starring in television shows on The CW. Gotham is a Fox series about the early years of Jim Gordon and Bruce Wayne long before he became Batman.
