The Emerald Twilight is approaching for the Geoff Johns era! The fan favorite writer redeemed Hal Jordan, created the first Arab-American Green Lantern and weave nearly a decade of compelling stories.
DC Comics shared a preview of Green Lantern #20 the final oversized issue by Johns with an all-star roster of artists including series artist Doug Mahnke and special guest appearances by Ethan Van Sciver, Ivan Reis, Patrick Gleason, Cully Hamner, Aaron Kuder, Jerry Ordway, and more!
DC teases “the final four story pages will make your head explode!”
“I’m extremely grateful for being able to conclude our run on Green Lantern with this monster of an issue,” Johns told THE SOURCE. “I’m moving on feeling very proud of what my creative collaborators and I have done over the years with the Green Lantern universe. Thanks to all the readers out there who’ve been with us for this adventure. I can’t wait until #20 is in your hands — the last several pages in particular.”
Green Lantern #20 will also include a retrospective and goodbye from Johns, as he reminisces on his incredible run. Watch for it on May 22nd!
