Lea Seydoux has been offered the leading lady role opposite Channing Tatum in Gambit according to Deadline.
Channing Tatum is playing Remy LeBeau in the X-Men spinoff with director Rupert Wyatt.
Lea Seydoux is starring in the next James Bond film Spectre and starred in Blue is the Warmest Color, Inglourious Basterds and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.
Who is Seydoux playing?
There’s no official word but Bella Donna Boudreax is the woman with closest comic book ties to Remy LeBeau after Rogue.
Gambit was raised by the Thieves Guild. In order to make peace, Remy was married to Bella Donna of the Assassins Guild but like any love story about opposites attracting…things went wrong, the clans went to war and Remy’s love became a ruthless enemy after she gained her own powers and took over as leader of the Guild.
Gambit is scheduled for October 7, 2016.
