From James Bond to Gambit?

Lea Seydoux has been offered the leading lady role opposite Channing Tatum in Gambit according to Deadline.

Channing Tatum is playing Remy LeBeau in the X-Men spinoff with director Rupert Wyatt.

Lea Seydoux is starring in the next James Bond film Spectre and starred in Blue is the Warmest Color, Inglourious Basterds and Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

Channing Tatum is back on board with the X-Men spinoff Gambit from Fox director Rupert Wyatt is searching is on for his leading lady.

Rebecca Ferguson, Abbey Lee and Lea Seydoux are the front runners according to Deadline.

Ferguson is currently playing a British agent in Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation. The Swedish actress was the breakout star of the film. We even raved for a spinoff for her character.

Lee stars in Mad Max: Fury Road and upcoming Gods of Egypt and Neon Demon.

CHANNING TATUM Leaving GAMBIT?

The Gambit movie may be falling like a house of cards but can it recharge?

The deal between Channing Tatum and 20th Century Fox is in jeopardy and the star may exit the X-Men spinoff according to The Wrap.

This comes shortly after Tatum joined the casts of Fox’s X-Men: Apocalypse, Fantastic Four, Wolverine and Deadpool on stage at San Diego Comic-Con.

After your suggestions and more digging here are more fan-favorites and Marvel mainstays who are MIA so far from this fall’s relaunch:

Cable and Hope! Nathan Summers has been an on-again, off-again hero since his 1990 debut. The son of Scott Summers from the future was last seen leading the latest version of X-Force saving his adopted daughter Hope (also MIA) from same techno-organic virus infected him as a child. The future leader of the war against Apocalypse and the messiah child that reignited the mutant race are not on any of the teams but don’t count them out. Channing Tatum and Fox set the date for Gambit.

Channing Tatum will star as the X-Man in a solo movie for Fox slated for October 7, 2016 according to Variety.

Gambit opens just a few months after X-Men: Apocalypse (May 27, 2016) as the eight film in the the X-Men franchise.  Joshua Zetumer wrote the screenplay. No word on a director yet.

Why GAMBIT In All-Female X-MEN

Storm, Psylocke, Monet and Rachel Grey investigate a mysterious event in The Burning World starting in X-Men #23.

A fan-favorite outcast X-Man guest stars in the upcoming arc by Ms. Marvel writer G. Willow Wilson and artist Roland Boschi (Winter Soldier: The Bitter March).

Gambit is known as a ladies man and that makes  him a perfect guest star for the story.
