I’ve loved Valkyrie since her days in The Defenders and Misty since she stole the show in Power Man & Iron Fist. The two are an unlikely but effectively charming duo. I loved Bunn’s work on The Fearless which starred Valkyrie. I sense this new series will have the same sense of globetrotting adventure, supernatural intrigue but with some odd couple interaction ala Lethal Weapon but with badass women!
Will Sliney and Veronica Gandini are slick storytellers. Misty’s first fight scene is really exciting. The art matches the sense of action, charm and adventure that awaits.
Fearless Defenders #1 is definitely the start of a fun ride and just wait: Dani Moonstar of New Mutants is joining the cast!
