Actor Matt Ryan is rocking the trench coat.
NBC revealed the first look of Ryan as John Constantine from the upcoming pilot based on the DC Comics hero.
Constantine is from executive producers Daniel Cerone and David S. Goyer and directed by Neil Marshall.
“I’ve been a fan of John Constantine since he was first introduced in 1985. This Constantine, envisioned by Neil Marshall and embodied by Matt Ryan, looks like he sprang directly from the comics’ covers. Fans old and new are going to be in for a treat,” said executive producer David S. Goyer.
John Constantine debuted as a supporting character in Swamp Thing before starring his own Vertigo series Hellblazer. In The New 52 continuity he stars in how own solo Constantine series and as part of Justice League Dark.
