An original Battlestar Galactica reunion will be a highlight at the back to basics comic show of the Pacific Northwest! Jet City Comic Show announced Richard Hatch will appear at the event on November 8, 2014 in Tacoma. Hatch joins previously announced special guest Dirk Benedict.

BATKID BEGINS Trailer Relives Leukemia Survivor’s MAKE-A-WISH Day

The geek world is buzzing after Ben Affleck’s appearance at San Diego Comic Con and the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer.

 

Now that world can relive the story of Batkid aka Miles Scott, a 5 year old leukemia survivor who saved Gotham (San Francisco) as part of his Make-A-Wish dream day.
Dana Nachman and KTF Films are completing a documentary that captures that big day.

X-Men: Days of Future Past costume illustrator Phillip Boutte Jr reveals his early costume designs for the sequel with Concept Art World. You can see different early takes on new additions Blink, Warpath and Bishop along with designs for Professor X, Magneto and Storm.

 

The one reveal that might make some fans sigh is Jubilee – who didn’t appear in the film.

 

As you’ll see most of his designs remained the same but others were very different. In fact, the early Blink look was closer to her comic book roots in Generation X.

Dick Grayson is no longer Nightwing.

 

Will a new hero take on the role?

 

In the aftermath of Forever Evil – Dick will become a super spy operative in Grayson #1.

 

After assuming the roles of Robin, Nightwing and even Batman – Dick is moving on to a new role without a mask or costume.
