This week we saw a huge moment on Bruce’s journey and the perhaps fate of one of his greatest enemies in Batman #47.
Back in issue 40 (the Endgame finale) the Dark Knight and Joker were locked in a bloody battle to the death as Gotham City buried them in an underground tunnel. Bruce emerged wandering the streets of Gotham with no memory of his past or the tragedies that turned him into Batman. Jim Gordon became the new Batman in a tech suit working for the Powers Corporation and Gotham City Police. Joker was missing and presumed dead.
