Marvel revealed the creative team for the All-New, All-Different Avengers which arriving on Free Comic Book Day.

Veteran writer Mark Waid (Daredevil, Captain America) and Mahmud Asrar (All-New X-Men) assemble for the relaunch of Earth’s Mightiest Heroes. The All-New Captain America, Thor, Vision, Ms. Marvel, Nova and Miles Morales, the Ultimate Spider-Man represent a diverse team of classics and new faces.

BATGIRL Team In DC CHAMPIONS OF JUSTICE at ECCC

DC Comics brought out the star power behind recent breakout hits at the DC Champions of Justice panel at Emerald City Comicon.

Moderator Hank Kanalz asked Batgirl creative team Cameron Stewart, Brenden Fletcher and Babs Tarr about how they came together.

Stewart was committed to Fight Club 2 and for co-writer, the only choice was longtime friend Brenden Fletcher. For art Stewart wanted a woman and recruited Tarr after seeing her on Tumblr. She had never drawn sequential pages before but had “sass” needed for their vision. Tarr revealed how for a long time she didn’t know the DC mystery project was Batgirl and she’s taking on sole art duties with issue 41 in June. Valiant Comics kicked off their 25th Anniversary Tour at Emerald City Comicon in Seattle.

Today the publisher shared this teaser for what could be the next big event: Book of Death.

As you can see this features members of Unity, The Valiant, Harbinger Wars and the Armor Hunters.

Marvel V.P. C.B. Cebulski returned to Emerald City Comicon with Executive Editor Mike Marts to share news on the publisher’s big event Secret Wars.

In the Marvel: Black Vortex to Secret Wars panel writers Rick Remender, Kelly Sue DeConnick and Charles Soule answered fan questions and teased their upcoming books tied to Jonathan Hickman’s epic that destroys the Marvel Universe and sets up a Battleworld. Big news from Dark Horse Comics at Emerald City Comicon. The publisher announced the return of Barb Wire among ten new series in 2015 as it expands its Project Black Sky Line, a revival of 1990’s series like X and Ghost.

Barb Wire is a female bounty hunter who tracks superpowered marks to score massive rewards. Pamela Anderson played her on the big screen.

The first teaser trailer for SPECTRE is here via 007.com.

This is the first look at the 24th James Bond adventure with Daniel Craig back as 007 for a fourth time.

SPECTRE follows SKYFALL, the biggest Bond film of all time, which took in $1.1 billion worldwide. Director Sam Mendes is for the follow-up.

“You’re got a secret,” Miss Moneypenny (Naomie Harris) says to Bond after something turns up in the ruins of Skyfall.

Johnny Storm is joining the Uncanny Inhumans but what about the rest of Marvel’s First Family?

Fantastic Four is coming to an end. Marvel revealed the Human Torch will join Medusa’s extended family in the upcoming Free Comic Book Day issue. What will happen to Reed, Sue and Ben during and after Secret Wars?

Johnny’s move is signal that our earlier prediction may come true. When the FF cancellation was announced we said keep the rich characters but make them part of the larger Marvel Universe.

Reed played a critical role in Jonathan Hickman’s New Avengers and found himself on the wrong side of the law and Susan Storm for his actions with the Illuminati.  Richards will be integral to Hickman’s Secret Wars epic but will he survive the experience? X-MEN: APOCALYPSE Mutants For Your Consideration

A new mutant joins the X-Men film franchise in X-Men: Apocalypse.

Bryan Singer revealed Jubilee will join the cast after previously revealing new actors will play younger versions of Jean Grey, Storm, Scott Summers and Nightcrawler.

Professor X, Magneto, Mystique and Beast (James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult) return for the sequel set in the 1980’s. Hugh Jackman returns as Wolverine.

It’s a good bet Gambit (Channing Tatum) and Deadpool (Ryan Reynolds) may appear since those characters are headlining spinoffs before and after Apocalypse. Days of Future Past introduced Blink, Sunspot and Warpath.
