Marvel rewards excited fans with the first trailer via GMA and a teaser poster for the epic showdown between Earth’s Mightiest Heroes and the Mad God of Titan. The film is the finale of the Marvel Cinematic Universe Phase Three bringing together Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy together.
All roads lead to Thanos. Will he find the final piece of the most powerful weapon in the universe?
The alien super villain (Josh Brolin) is seeking the Infinity Stones. In the comics the super villain assembled the stones on the Infinity Gauntlet, possibly the most powerful weapon in the Marvel Universe. Thanos used it the wiped out half the population in his obsessive devotion to Death, which is an actual entity. The stones have appeared in the Tesseract in THOR, THE AVENGERS, AGE OF ULTRON, DOCTOR STRANGE and GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY.
The action picks up after the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR. The Avengers as we know it no longer exists. Lines were drawn; sides chosen. The friendship of Tony Stark and Steve Rogers ripped apart by a secret from the past.

Steve Rogers, Bucky Barnes, Black Widow and Falcon were given refuge in Wakanda following CIVIL WAR. Winter Soldier was put on ice again but is he cured of his Hydra conditioning as he joins the battle.
Steve, Natasha, Bucky, Sam and Hulk join T’Challa for what looks like a major battle in Wakanda. Is the final Infinity Stone in Black Panther’s homeland? In comics Wakanda has often been a place of cosmic significance (Avengers World storyline) and target for invasion by aliens.
“Give that man a shield.” Steve may not be Cap but he’s ready to lead and gets a new shield courtesy of T’Challa. Wakanda is the only source of vibranium on Earth which is what Cap’s famous shield is made from. It came from a meteorite.
Is the final Infinity Stone in Wakanda? Will fans see a hint of it in the BLACK PANTHER film in February?
After THOR RAGNAROK, The Odinson and Bruce Banner were on a ship with Asgardian refugees heading for Earth when a bigger ship overshadowed them. We assumed it was the Thanos ship but it appears from the trailer Thor and Hulk will be the first Avengers to encounter the Guardians of the Galaxy.
The Hulk falls to Earth. Banner is discovered by Doctor Strange and Wong. How did the Hulk come crashing to Earth and separated from Thor?
Loki- traitor again? A giant metal circle appears in the skies above New York City. Loki holds the Tesseract again. Does one of these bring Thanos to Earth or his army of villains – the Black Order? Has Loki betrayed Thor again or playing the villain role to work against the Mad God?
Vision and Scarlet Witch – one of the most heartbreaking and strangest couples in comics will fall in love on screen. Thanos pulls the Infinity Stone from Vision – what will it do to the android and his feelings of love for Wanda and friendship with the team?
Black Widow blonde? So were the red wigs just part of Natasha’s costume. This may be reaching but there was a blonde Widow in comics. Yelena Belova was a second (blonde) Black Widow who later became a villain. Could Scarlett Johansson’s character have been a triple agent this whole time?
War Machine is soaring again. Spidey armors up. Iron Man breaks out new Hulkbuster armor.
