Zoe Saldana (Star Trek, Avatar) could add a new sci-fi role to her stellar resume! The actress is in talks to play the female lead in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy according to The Hollywood Reporter Heat Vision.
Saldana would play an alien assassin named Gamora. The green-skinned beauty is the last of her race – destroyed by the Badoon.
Chris Pratt is playing the team leader, Star-Lord, a human-alien hybrid and heir to the Spartax Empire. Chris Bautista is playing Drax the Destroyer, a green-skinned warrior made specifically to kill Thanos – the smirking bad guy at the end of The Avengers.
