We already picked Zatanna on our list of heroes who should be in the Justice League movies.
But the more you learn about the character, the more we think she could make an enchanting addition to The CW.
Zatanna Zatara is a stage magician and real life magician following in her father’s footsteps and cape. The powerful sorceress is an off-again, on-again member of Justice League of America with romantic connections to John Constantine and The Flash (flirting only.) Zatanna’s origin story was retconned to have a childhood relationship with Bruce Wayne.
In The New 52 reboot Zatanna was a member of Justice League Dark and later Justice League and continued her romance with Constantine.
Z’s childhood connection to Bruce Wayne could lead to a guest spot on Gotham on Fox.
Zatanna’s romance with John Constantine could lead to a guest appearance and spinoff of Constantine on NBC.
My wish:
Zatanna guest stars on an arc of Arrow as love interest of Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) or Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) and have her bond on a mystery with Black Canary (Katie Cassidy) before producers conjure a series.
Show business, supernatural threats and great costumes! Zatanna could be the next magical addition to DC’s expanding television empire.
