An icon is in crisis mode. You can be the hero.

After 41 years, Zanadu Comics is in jeopardy. Old school brick and mortar comic book shops like this Seattle icon are essential elements of the comics industry. After years of fighting in a changing business, a number of financial factors including forced relocation are hitting this store hard all at once.

This is personal.

When I first moved to Seattle I went in search of my new comic book shop and fell for this amazing store. Owner Perry Plush & Team Zanadu have created more than just a cool store. It’s a haven where everyone is welcome.

Zanadu does more more than sell comics and collectibles. Perry gives new writers, artists & small publishers a spotlight along side the big publishers. Team Zanadu opens their doors for monthly reader discussion groups as fans share their favorites and open their minds to discovering new creators and books. Perry Plush and the team create events like Hometown Heroes, celebrating Seattle’s independent creators.

Team Zanadu is reaching out for help with a gofundme campaign to get through this crisis and create a strong plan for future growth. We have never advocated for a fundraising campaign before but this is close to home and this team is close to my heart.

You can help save this small business with a big heart and legacy. Take a look at here to see a special video inside the iconic store and some of the special perks for donations if you want to join the cause.

Thanks for your consideration.
