When Inhumanity spreads across Earth how will the mutants react?

The events of Infinity will strike Black Bolt and his loyal subjects directly then cascade across the planet.

The X-Men are already dealing with a surge in new mutants. Is there room for an explosion of mutants and Inhumans?

Brian Michael Bendis will take on the potential conflict in Uncanny X-Men:

“This is the number one question people have been asking since they heard about Inhumanity and the rise of the Inhumans,” Bendis tells Marvel.com.

“What is the difference between mutants and Inhumans? How will they coexist? What will their relationship be? We will be answering these questions immediately.”

If you look at Kris Anka’s cover for Uncanny X-Men #15 you might suspect if Kitty Pryde has defected from the Jean Grey School to Cyclops’s revolution.

“The shocking conclusion to Battle of the Atom–no spoilers here–rearranges the players of the mutant Marvel Universe a great many ways,” Bendis teases. “This is just one of them.”

Every Marvel team must deal with the Inhumans but the X-Men will have a reaction based on their own experiences.

“The mutant leaders have a very specific agenda for the mutants and for the Inhumans. They also have a large compassion and understanding for what is about to happen to the Inhumans across the Marvel Universe.”

Battle of the Atom part three is out today in X-Men #5.

Former X-Men scribe Matt Fraction is writing a new Inhuman series starting in 2014.
