The X-Men Enemy Revealed!
Here’s a first look at Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask, the scientist behind the Sentinels who will threaten the mutant race in X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Along with the Trask Industries, Your Future commercial (aka viral video) is a new corporate website for the company responsible for the “mutant detection device” and the giant mutant hunting robots in the upcoming sequel.
The Trask Industries site shows video of Trask at work in his labs and reveals his belief and mission:
“The mutant threat is the defining issue of our time. We can choose to stem the impending tide of extinction or we can stand by passively and allow it to wash away any remnants of our species.”
Inhibitor Collars are another creation of Trask Industries. These devices dampen a mutant’s powers and were used by the fictional nation of Genosha. This island nation considered its mutants to be natural resources and not citizens and enslaved them in forced labor.
X-Men: Days of Future Past opens in May, 2014.
