Marvel and Feld Entertainment revealed Storm and Cyclops will be part of Marvel Universe Live, the live action touring show coming Summer 2014. The two X-Men leaders join Wolverine, Spider Man and members of the Avengers in the live action show.
The Marvel Universe Live Facebook page revealed the mistress of weather manipulation.
“Storm’s look has evolved in many directions. I mixed her flair with hints of Egyptian royalty. Pairing leather and boots really sets her up to ‘rock’ alongside her fellow X-Men.” said Cynthia Nordstrom, Marvel Universe Live Costume Designer.
Cyclops was revealed on Crave Online.
“Cyclops’ look for the show is influenced by knight’s armor,” says costume designer Cynthia Nordstrom. “This inspiration first came from imagining the lenses of his eyewear and the similarities it shares with the viewing window in a knight’s helmet. This was the jumping off point for the costume, which also incorporates similar materials to give more lines and direction as well as to bend his color in a distinct path.”
Marvel Universe Live is by the producers of Disney On Ice and hits arenas in Summer 2014. The tour will include SHIELD Agent Maria Hill, Loki, Red Skull, Chitauri warriors, Spidey villains, Hydra and A.I.M. agents and Madame Hydra.
