Are you still mourning the Death of Wolverine?
X-23 and the X-Man’s greatest enemies are caught in a deadly game with a mystery man in the seven part Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy.
Laura, Sabretooth, Mystique, Lady Deathstrike and Daken will each have a chapter in the series connected to Weapon X and Logan’s final fate.
Charles Soule set up the first chapter. Different writers will take on each member of Logan’s supporting cast. X-23 is the star of issue two this week by Tim Seeley (Grayson, Hack/Slash).
X-23 was cloned from Wolverine’s DNA and bred to be a killing machine but Logan tried to give Laura a different path. As Seeley explains the most different from the other characters caught in this conspiracy.
“The Wolverine side of the Marvel Universe tends to be full of the more “morally flexible” characters. Just by virtue of who he is, Logan attracted a lot of shady characters. In fact, of all the characters featured in the LEGACY story, X-23 is the most “good” of all of them, and she’s an ex-assassin berserker,” Seeley told Marvel.com.
X-23 is a cast member of All-New X-Men now and “dating” the original Angel – who appears in this week’s issue.
