X-23 is back and it’s love and war among the next generation of mutants.
Marvel shared a look inside All-New X-Men #20 by Brian Michael Bendis, Brandon Peterson and Mahmud Asrar.
After the events of Battle of the Atom – Kitty Pryde and the original X-Men have left Wolverine and the Jean Grey School to join Cyclops and his revolution squad and New Xavier School.
“There’s a new student at the New Xavier School, and she’s not too happy her new “campus” is housed inside a former Weapon X facility! X-23 wants answers and she’s not going to ask nicely. But before she gets then, she and the All-New X-Men must face down a heavily armed squad of mutant-hunting Purifiers! And Laura may just find comfort in the arms of one of her new teammates: young Cyclops.”
Scott always falls for the bad girl (Dark Phoenix, Madelyne, Emma and now Laura?)
This will be the first time we’ve seen the Purifiers since Second Coming – the return of Hope and rebirth of the mutant race.
