A first look at Gal Gadot in action as Wonder Woman in her own film was part of the DC Films Presents Dawn of the Justice League on The CW.

Kevin Smith and Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns hosted the special that gave fans new looks at Batman vs. Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad and Wonder Woman.

Johns confirmed Diana’s origins in the film that she is from Greek mythology raised on the island of Themiscyra with warriors called Amazons. They were created to protect man’s world but have abandoned it.

Johns calls her “the best fighter in the DC Universe” and “she stands for equality.”

“We’re going to see her coming of age. The entire history.” Gadot said.

Fans got a first look at Gadot in costume unleashing her sword, fighting bad guys, riding horseback and as a civilian undercover in World War I era dress.

Chris Pine (Steve Trevor) and director Patty Jenkins appeared in the preview.

Warner Brothers revealed the movie’s official logo via official Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages for the film.

Wonder Woman arrives June 23, 2017.
