Miles Morales will survive Secret Wars and join the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now but will any other Ultimate Universe heroes swing over to the main new Marvel this Fall?
Marvel revealed Morales will star in a brand new Spider-Man by Brian Michael Bendis and Sara Pichelli and be on the All-New, All-Different Avengers when Secret Wars ends.
Ultimate Spider-Man original team Bendis and Mark Bagley are crafting Ultimate End, the five-part limited series tied to Secret Wars that is the final Ultimate story.
Months before Secret Wars was announced and The End of the Ultimate Universe was first teased we pondered if some of the Ultimate heroes will survive and move into the Marvel 616 universe? Time for another update!
Miles is ultimately our pick for most likely to survive but we didn’t think he would become THE Spider-Man of the new Marvel Universe.
Here are our next contenders we hope will survive The End:
Jimmy Hudson
The son of the late Ultimate Wolverine. Jimmy was raised by James and Heather Hudson until his mutant powers kicked in then Kitty Pryde revealed the truth about his famous father.
Jimmy has a healing factor and claws but his are coated with an organic metal similar to Colossus.
We know there will be a new Wolverine in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now. This promo sure looks like X-23 and Old Man Logan will be prowling for bad guys. I would like to see Jimmy escape to discover Logan’s Legacy, meet his Multiverse family: X-23 and Daken.
While the next evolution of the X-Men is under wraps what if this Jimmy united with this world’s James and Heather Hudson and be part of a new Alpha Flight.
Kitty Pryde
This Ultimate Shadowcat aka Shroud aka Kitty Pryde is an ultimate survivor.
This Kitty Pryde left Xavier’s school and fell in love with Peter Parker in a tortured teen triangle.
When Ultimatum made mutants public enemy number one, Kitty assumed a new identity. As the Shroud, she developed new twists on her powers and led underground resistance group.
Kitty later joined Miles Morales to form a new teen team of Ultimates. This is a harder edged Kitty. More of a strike force leader than a teacher.
While this Kitty is not as savage as her Age of Apocalypse counterpart, she could bring a hardened edge to the Children of the Atom in their fight for survival in a world that will still fear and hate them.
Nick Fury
This is the cornerstone character of the Ultimates and the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The new Fury was based on Samuel L. Jackson would be portray him on multiple films. The main Marvel Universe kind of introduced this black Nick Fury in the form of Sgt. Marcus Johnson, the secret son of the original Fury. The first Nick Fury is paying a penance on the moon for his actions as revealed in Original Sin. Fury of any era is the ultimate survivor and the Jackson inspired Fury could shake up S.H.I.E.L.D. in the All-New, All-Different Marvel Now.
