Lee Pace is in final talks to play the villain in Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy according to The Wrap.
Pace (Pushing Daisies, Lincoln, The Hobbit, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn) was reportedly a contender for the lead role of Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) that will be played by Chris Pratt.
The big rumor is the main villain will be The Collector (aka Taneleer Tivan) is one of the Elders of the Universe and has been connected to Thanos (the villain behind Loki and the Chithauri invasion of Earth in The Avengers movie.)
The Guardians have often clashed with the alien warriors known as the Badoon. No word on if these aliens will appear in the James Gunn directed film.
